D B M Diploma in Business Management, Symbiosis International University
Symbiosis University conducts Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for admission to their Law programs at various SLS campuses.
Paper Pattern:
As you will find on the official website, the paper usually has five sections, i.e. Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, General Knowledge and Reading Comprehension.
The paper usually consists of 150 questions, which are divided equally into five sections. The time limit for the test is 150 minutes.
Each question usually will have 4 options, each carrying one mark.
There is no negative marking in the test for incorrect answers.
You will find many questions especially from General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, and Reasoning Section discussed in a similar manner in LST material.
Sections:
Analytical Reasoning: This section covers topics like series, assertion reasoning, odd one out, statement conclusion, etc. A score of around 20-25 is considered a good score for this section.
Legal Reasoning: It has questions from topics like Strong & Weak Arguments, Statement Assumption, Statement Conclusion, Drawing Conclusion from Given Statement, Syllogism, Analogy, Critical Reasoning, Course of Action, etc. Try to score 22-23 to be safe.
Reading Comprehension: The passages given are relatively small and come from different topics. Questions in this section will be easy, try to attempt 24-25 questions.
General Knowledge: Questions come from Current and Static GK. The difficulty level is somewhat moderate. Sometimes questions from current affairs are quite tricky and difficult to attempt. Score of 20-25 in this section is good.
Once you are through SET, you need to appear in WAT-PI round to be selected for admission.
