What is the dress code of IIM? I am going to join IIM Bodh Gaya this year but I don’t have any idea about the uniform.

There is no strictly followed dress code at IIM Bodh Gaya. Yet you are expected to dress properly on certain occasions. For instance

For your pre-placement process you are expected to be dressed either in Business casuals or smart casuals
For your Placement Interviews and Group Discussions, your attire should necessarily be formal.
During your classes it’s recommended that you dress up in smart casuals as it gives a good impression on the faculty. Wearing informal T-Shirts might set a wrong image of you.
During class presentations, you should adopt General smart casuals as your dress code and if the presentation is extra serious, you might even wear formal.
In the hostel you can wear whatever you want and there are no boundaries. Still, you are expected to be modestly clothed as the hostels are co-Ed.

So before joining IIM, try to arrange at least 3 formal suits that might come in handy during emergencies.
