BITS Pilani accepts scores of Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) and BITS HD for admission to its MPharm program.
The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is an annual All-India examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) in computer-mode to evaluate the candidates for admission to M.Pharm. at BITS Pilani.
Both BITS Pilani and ICT Mumbai are highly respected institutions for pharmacy education in India. The choice between the two ultimately depends on the individual's preferences and goals. BITS Pilani has a strong focus on research and innovation, while ICT Mumbai has a long history of excellence in chemical technology and pharmaceuticals.
But I would recommend BITS as Courses are usually fun. Although the BITS professors are very strict, they are experts in this field, and some of them have their own patents on drugs. At BITS, Pharma labs are fun but entail long hours. Grades are not that easy to make unlike some other programs.
In the long run, having a degree from BITS Pilani can significantly boost your career prospects, especially when coupled with hard work. As evidenced by the diverse career paths of my pharmacy batchmates, including roles in prestigious organisations like investment banking, FMCG firms, startups, family businesses, and specialised fields like biostatistics, it's clear that BITS alumni have the potential to excel across various industries and roles.
MPharm at BITS Pilani is a popular program known for its curriculum, faculties and research opportunities. You will learn about pharmaceutical sciences, its both theoretical and practical aspects. You will receive a comprehensive education to excel in the pharmaceutical industry.
To get admitted to the MPharm course at BITS Pilani, you have to appear in the BITS HD (Higher Degree) entrance exam. It is an online exam that candidates have to appear in to get selected for postgraduate degrees at BITS Pilani. The university releases a list of selected candidates that will be called for the next step of the admission process, which is generally a personal interview. You should prepare well for the exam and focus on pharmacy-related subjects. Candidates with GPAT scores can also apply.
Additionally, to be eligible for the MPharm course at BITS Pilani, you have to be eligible for it. You must have a BE/BPharm degree with 60% marks from a recognised university. MPhil candidates with 55% marks or candidates with integrated first-degree courses of BITS in pharmacy.
