Having friends in both the institutes, I might be able to help you with the question. Welingkar, Mumbai, and PUMBA are two opposite colleges, and comparing them is the same as comparing the North and South directions.

A year drop will not be a problem. Assuming these pros and cons, decide the University that best suits you.
Welingkar Bangalore Core is a good option among the two, many people don’t consider Bangalore a corporate hub, and it is easy for a Bangalore-based college to call for companies and get their students placed.
Also, Welingkar is a well-established institute that started in the year 1977. The median salary for Welingkar is around 11 lac per annum, while for IBS, it is around 7 lac per annum, so the choice is clear in terms of placements. Plus, it is an older institute, so you will get some perks related to that.
To make a choice between the two first you need to be sure if you are choosing between colleges or choosing between courses. I will give you a brief description of both the colleges.
KJ Somaiya
KJ Somaiya has better ranking than Welingkar and is more recognised in the corporate world. Also its flagship course Communications Marketing has wider scope in comparison to E-Business.
Welingkar Bangalore
It is situated in the IT hub of the country and has a great campus. Its flagship course of E-Business is like any other MBA with an additional inclusion of IT related subjects. These subjects aim at providing benefit to people with technical and non technical background both.
So the final choice is yours to make based on your interests.
I have friends from both IIM Indore (Mumbai campus) and Welingkar, and here are some facts about the institutes based on the conversations I had with them.
Even though both institutes are doing their best on the field, IIM Indore will comparably reap better benefits in the long run.
TAPMI, KJ Somaiya, Great Lakes Chennai, GIM > Welingkar. Apart from Welingkar, all the colleges are somewhat the same in terms of placements.

One can choose on the basis of RoI, location preference or anything else that they deem important.
You should give Loyola or TAPMI the highest priority among these options. In the event that the Mumbai campus is chosen, Welingkar will be your second priority. In the event that Hyderabad is the winner, IBS will finish in third place. In any other case, it will be quite expensive to keep it.
