JUET (Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology) is a private UGC recognized College in Raghogarh, Guna, Madhya Pradesh. It is ranked 86th by NIRF among 100 Universities in India. It offers 18 courses across 2 streams. It offers courses like B. Tech, M. Tech, M. Sc, B. Sc (Hons.), Ph.D. It has a campus size of about 100 acres. A total of 1364 students get enrolled in the institute every year.

JUIT (Jaypee University of Information Technology) is a private UGC and AICTE affiliated college in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. In Engineering, it is ranked 115th in India by NIRF. It has 2000 undergraduate and 100 postgraduate students. The campus size of JUIT is 25 acres. It offers 4 courses which are B. Tech, M. Tech, M. Sc and Ph.D.

Amity University-

• It offers the highest package of 30 LPA.

LNCT- LNCT offers BE, ME, MCA, and MBA programs in various specializations. The admission is through JEE Main GATE, CAT.

JUET- JUET offers BTech and BSc in the UG level and MTech, MSc in the PG level. It also offers Ph.D. programs. The admission is through JEE Mains, GATE, UGC-NET, SET.

Facilities:

JUET- Facilities available at the JUET college are sports, games, gyms, parks, transport facilities, healthcare, library, labs, and many more.

LNCT- The facilities available at LNCT college are digital libraries, an anti-ragging community, GMAT Test Center, hostels, transportation facilities, and many more.

Faculty :

Both colleges have experienced faculties holding the highest degrees in their respective fields. So, students can access the utmost knowledge from the professors at both the colleges.

Placements:

JUET-

• More than 100 companies visit the campus and recruit the students with the highest salary of 41 LPA in JUET. However, the average salary at the college is 3 LPA.

• Companies visiting the JUET are Interview Bit, One Direct, Google, Amazon, Central Research Laboratories, Accolite, Trident, Grade Up, Geeks for Geeks, TCS, Hitachi Consultancy, Tata Consultancies, and many more.

LNCT-

• The companies visiting the LNCT campus are Microsoft, Oracle, TCS, Tech Mahindra, L&T, IBM, Reliance, HCL, Google, Ashik Leyland, Indian Army, Indian Navy, and many more.

• The highest and minimum salaries of the college are 19 LPA and 3.3 LPA.

Both the colleges are best in their aspects. So, choose the college that suits you based on various aspects such as faculty, fee, admission procedure, courses, placements, etc.

One of my former teachers used to be a student of LNCT Bhopal and in her opinion, the institute has one of the best placement records in Central India as the students often get offers from giants such as Cognizant, CSC, Wipro, Infogain, TCS, etc. 

If you want to start your career in IT then LNCT Bhopal will be an excellent choice. It will open a plethora of opportunities for you and a lot of the students got placed in more than one company.

However, if your aim is to have a career that is more research-oriented after your graduation then you will only be able to pursue your goals in government institutions.

The highest package offered to the students of LNCT was by Microsoft this year. It was a package of INR 27 LPA.

The latest placement record of JUET Guna showed that the highest package offered was by Gojek. INR 28 LPA was offered.

The ranking for JUET and Manipal, Jaipur by NIRF is 86 and 151. However, choosing the best course in a specific college depends upon your level of interest, eligibility, cut-off rank, placement cell, etc.

Admissions and Fee: Both colleges offer BTech courses for CSE and ECE.

• The eligibility for the courses is the same, i.e, 10+2 with 75% and JEE Mains.

• The cut-off for the ECE course in Manipal, Jaipur college is 6843. But there is no specific cut-off for JUET CSE.

• The fee is a bit higher for Manipal college than the JUET, Guna. The annual course fee at Manipal is 3.19 lakhs, while the same at JUET is 2.04 lakhs.

Placements:

JUET-

• The highest salary of JUET is 41 LPA while the average salary received by the students is 3.5 LPA.

• Several companies are visiting the JUET campus. Out of which, few of them are Amazon, Google, TCS, HCL, One Direct, Trident, Tata Consultancy, Infosys, Geeks for Geeks, Interview Bit, Central Research Laboratory, and many more.

Manipal Jaipur-

• The top companies visiting the Manipal, Jaipur college are Dell, Amazon, Accenture, Cult Fit, HDFC Bank, Wipro, Philips, ABB, Shell Technologies, and many more.

• The ECE placement rate of this college is 90%.

• And the highest and lowest salaries of the college are 42 LPA and 5.4 LPA.

• The scope for both the scores at these colleges is too high.

It is difficult to compare two different institutes for two different courses. As a course, CSE has better opportunities than ECE. However, you should choose the course you are more interested in and the institute according to that.
