While the fees for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) are comparatively affordable, I noticed an increase in the fee structure after I enrolled. Initially, I was told that the total cost of the course would be around Rs. 1,20,000, but now it’s gone up to Rs. 1,35,000.

This sudden hike is concerning, especially since we were not informed about it beforehand. It makes planning finances a bit tricky when fees keep changing like that.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course at Manipal University Jaipur has its downsides. For instance, while the curriculum is quite good and relevant, I feel there is a lack of detailed teaching by the faculty. The live lectures are engaging, but sometimes they don't cover much of the syllabus. Also, the interaction between students and teachers is limited because we can't use mics or cameras during classes, which makes it hard to ask questions directly. Overall, I think there's room for improvement in the teaching methods.

This might seem like a long response, but just teasing you. Every college has its ups and downs, and Manipal University Jaipur is no different. If you check out MNIT or any other college in Jaipur, you'll find they have their own issues too. Here's a couple of things about MUJ that aren't so great:

First, there's a lot of smoking and drinking at Manipal. It's up to each person to decide if they want to drink or smoke, but it's super common to see people doing it everywhere on campus. This can sometimes create peer pressure. When friends or acquaintances are into it, you might feel like joining in. People often act like it's no big deal. But if it's not your thing, it's best to steer clear. Constant drinking, whether after exams, parties, or just for fun, along with smoking weed and cigarettes, isn't healthy. Trust me, it'll catch up to you.

Second, SAMM students face fewer opportunities. I know this from personal experience. The SAMM department does have placements, but they are mostly in software engineering, business consultancy, or service-based companies. You might need to consider studying abroad, like in Canada, for better prospects. There are internships, but not many companies recruit for placements. So it's crucial to have a clear plan. During placements, you'll see your friends getting jobs at places like Accenture or Capgemini as software engineers, while you might be unsure about your next steps. No one will guide you then, so build a strong network and keep in touch with the Placement Officers.

Ultimately, you have to make this decision yourself. While Manipal Jaipur has its drawbacks, it also offers great things like a vibrant culture, fun events, good placements for CS, IT, CCE, ECE, EEE, and excellent teachers and friends. But only you can decide what's best. Don't rely solely on what you read here to form an opinion. If you're sure about choosing this college, go for it. I did my B.Tech at MUJ, and it was a great decision. College life will teach you a lot; just make sure you know what's right and wrong.

One major downside of the BBA program at Manipal University Jaipur is the lack of campus life. Since the course is completely online, we miss out on the vibrant college atmosphere and networking opportunities that come with it. There’s only one event called EKAM organized for online students each year, which feels very limited. Also, after completing the course, we receive our degrees via courier, which isn’t as fulfilling as a traditional convocation ceremony.
