Getting into SIMSREE requires a good score in the CET, ideally above 99.5 for the MBA program. I personally went through the CAP rounds and was selected based on my score, which was competitive. The eligibility is straightforward; just ensure you have 50% in your undergraduate degree. Focus on your preparation for the CET, and you should be good to go!

Getting into SIMSREE is all about how well you do on the entrance exams, so you don't need to worry much about your past academic profile. Even if your scores in 10th, 12th, or during your graduation weren't great, or if you took a gap year, it won't impact your chances here.

For the 2019–2021 session, students from Maharashtra needed a 99.7 percentile in the final cap round, and only scores from the Maharashtra CET were considered. For students from other parts of India, a cutoff of 99.93 percentile was needed in the last cap round, and they could apply with scores from CET, CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, and ATMA.

I hope this information is helpful, and I wish all MBA hopefuls the best for their upcoming exams.

Getting into Sydenham Institute of Management, a top B-School, requires you to do well in the MBA-CET entrance exam or the CAT/CMAT exams. There's no group discussion or personal interview involved.

In 2017, the cutoff scores were 99.72 for CET and 99.97 for CAT/CMAT. For CAT/CMAT, there are 12 seats available, while CET offers 102 seats, with half of them reserved.

In the 2017-19 batch, half of the students were newcomers to the field. The college offers a great environment to develop your skills and boost your profile.

To get selected in Sydenham Institute of Management Studies for the MBA, you should aim for a percentile of at least 99.5 in the MBA CET. My experience was that I had to go through the CAP rounds, and that's where the merit list is crucial. With a score like that, you should be in a good position, as there are no management quotas. The competition is tough, but if you meet that cutoff, you have a solid chance of getting in.

For the MMS program at SIMSREE, you need to have a CET score above 99.3 to secure your admission. I applied through the CAP rounds, and the process was quite smooth. Make sure you have your documents ready, as the verification is part of the process. The emphasis is on merit, so focus on scoring well in the CET, and you'll be able to get in without any issues.
