I'm not too familiar with Vignan’s LARA Institute, but as someone who graduated in IT from VR Siddhartha, I'd suggest opting for IT. Here are two reasons why:
Best of luck!
Pros:
Cons:
Overall, if you are not bothered by the caste issues and just want to focus on learning and graduating, I would suggest considering VRSEC.
When deciding between IT at VR Siddhartha and CSE at Vignan’s LARA Institute, you should consider two main things: the college and the branch. If your priority is to attend a renowned college, you might need to be flexible about the branch. But if you're set on a specific branch, you might have to compromise on the college selection.
In my opinion, choosing IT at VR Siddhartha is a smarter choice than CSE at VVIT. VR Siddhartha has several benefits. It's ranked among the top 10 engineering colleges due to its strong placement records and quality education. Established in 1971, it's the first private engineering college and has both NAAC and NBA accreditation.
The infrastructure at VR Siddhartha is impressive, with excellent lab facilities and faculty. They also conduct lots of workshops in areas like IoT and AI, which really engage students and enhance learning. Being located in the city, the college offers great opportunities for learning additional courses like GATE and GRE. The IT department at VR Siddhartha also had good placement statistics last year, which is crucial because college reputation significantly impacts placements.
On the other hand, VVIT was established in 2007 and is located a bit further from the city, which can make it challenging to access additional courses and prepare for competitive exams. As a VR Siddhartha student, I'd say IT at VR Siddhartha is a better pick.
