Welingkar Institute of Management's Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) has a pretty comprehensive curriculum that balances theory and practical learning. The faculty is quite experienced and brings a lot of industry knowledge, which makes classes engaging. However, the internship opportunities could be better; I found that while many companies visit for placements, the ratio of students getting hired is not very encouraging. Overall, the college does prepare you well for the corporate world, but there's always room for improvement in terms of internships.

You should probably steer clear of Welingkar's PGDM program. Seriously, don't do it. If you're aiming for a job in a BPO or something with a not-so-great role, then maybe it's an option. But I'd suggest waiting another year to try and get into one of India's top 30 B-schools. Spending 12 lakh on fees plus another 5 lakh on extras here isn't worth it. Hope this helps you make your decision. Have a great day.

Thanks for asking. In my opinion, Welingkar's distance MBA might not match the reputation of NMIMS or Symbiosis, which are quite well-known.

It's important to remember that even a degree from a top school like IIM won't mean much if you don't actually learn anything. I assume you're a working professional looking to gain management knowledge from a respected place.

When picking a school, consider your budget and the program details. Look into things like online classes, computer-based assignments, flexible exam schedules, and payment options like EMIs or loans. Also, check out their placement records.

I chose the PGDM at Welingkar mainly for its focus on practical applications alongside theoretical knowledge. The curriculum includes a variety of subjects that are essential for understanding today's business landscape. However, my only concern is the internship opportunities; while companies do come for placements, the quality and number of roles offered could definitely improve.

The overall learning experience is good, but I hope the college can enhance its internship program for future batches.

My experience at Welingkar's PGDM program has been a mix of good and challenging aspects. The course did cover a lot of relevant topics related to management and technology, which is great. The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, and they often bring real-world scenarios into discussions.

However, the placement process can be a bit rocky. Despite the college's claims of 100% placement, the reality is that securing a good offer can be quite competitive, especially in a market that has been a bit slow lately.
