Some proffesors are really great such as Anup Surendernath and K.J. Sophy who are quite deeply well versed with their subject infact most of the faculty here is like this.
though the examination is rigorous, which includes mid sem, projects and end sems in which you need a cumilative of 50 percent to pass that particular subject. The fail ratio is very less due to great academic help

The student faculty relationship is good and are approachable. Some of the most experienced names of the legal field teach the subject with first hand experience in drafting government laws and policies.
The exams are considerably tough with 5 subjects a semester. The university has mid semester exams then projects with vivas and then end semester exams.

1:60 is the faculty to student ratio. The exam pattern is mid semester then end semester which happens in every semester. So we give 4 exams in a year. The professor or Corporate Law ad Evidence Law are the one who I like because they provide us with different perspective to understand the concept.

Faculty to student ratio is pretty good as there are only 600 BALLB students and number if faculties in NLUD is 120.
I liked Prof Anup Surendranath who taught IPC and Evidence Act and Dr. Daniel Mathew who taught ADR.
Most of the exams are of moderate level except a few subjects like HLCD, Labour Law, Banking Law.
