AIIMS Bibinagar (Telangana) is one of the newer AIIMS institutes established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) initiative. why choose it?
- AIIMS brand: same central government institute status, degree says 'AIIMS' — nationally recognized
- Fees: like all AIIMS, fees are extremely subsidized (Rs.1,500-5,000/year for MBBS) compared to private medical colleges
- Telangana/South India location: if you're from Telangana/AP, being closer to home matters. Bibinagar is near Hyderabad
- Newer institute: infrastructure is still developing, but faculty are being recruited from senior institutions and programs are AIIMS-standard
- Less competition internally: being newer, there's more opportunity for research exposure and positions without intense competition of older AIIMS
honest caveat: AIIMS Bibinagar is newer than AIIMS Delhi, Jodhpur, Bhopal etc. facilities are still being established. the quality will improve over time but it's not the same as older AIIMS yet. if you get any AIIMS over a private medical college — always choose AIIMS regardless of campus age.

Being an AIIMS, AIIMS Bibinagar has the tag of being an Institute of National Importance and is centrally funded, thus, having a better infrastructure and facilities being offered to students. The hostel and the campus at AIIMS Bibinagar are commendable. The campus of AIIMS Bibinagar is huge, which in turn allows more expansion and growth in the future. The batch size is smaller unlike Osmania Medical College, and the faculty is no doubt one of the best, thus, a great learning experience is offered to students. The stipend paid to interns at AIIMS is more than other government colleges.
