What happens during the counseling of Manipal university?
After the MU OET results are released by the University, the counseling of the students starts for all three campuses (Manipal University Karnataka, Manipal University Jaipur, and Sikkim Institute of Technology).
- You are required to select the venue for counseling from the available centers before you download the hall ticket.
- Make sure that you fulfill all the eligibility criteria before you report to the counseling Centre.
- Only the candidates whose ranks are included in the counseling schedule are required to visit the venue.
- Your physical presence is mandatory for the admission process.
- At the venue, you will be required to be present in the counseling hall according to the ranks you scored in the MU OET Examination.
- You can select any branch available during your turn.
- Once the seat for admission is assigned, you cannot change it later under any circumstance.
During counseling, you must present the required original documents and two sets of photocopies of the same. For admission, the University would retain these documents till the completion of your course.

Students may note that both Universities favor merit and entrance based admissions.
- Undergraduate students are required to have 50% marks in 10+2 and 50%-55% for postgraduate programs.

I have a few friends from Manipal University, so I can give you some information regarding this. The scholarships that you can avail of at Manipal University are as follows.
Freeship Scholarship:
- Advantage: In a Freeship scholarship you don’t have to pay a tuition fee. It does not include hostel fees.
- How to Get: Freeship scholarship is awarded to students who ranked under 1000 in MU-OET. It also depends on the family income too. But you are required to maintain 8 CGPA for the whole 4 years during your course to be eligible.
AICTE Scholarship:
- Advantage: Tuition will get reduced. You do not need to maintain CGPA to be eligible for the scholarship.
- How to Get: Students who get a decent rank in MU-OET are awarded an AICTE scholarship. It also depends on the student’s family income. Different family income group get a different discount on their tuition fee.
But if you change your branch in the first year, you will have to forgo the scholarship and pay the full fee from the second year.

How is the faculty at Manipal University Jaipur?
the facultyto-student ratio is around 1:20 to 1:30 depending on the department of the year. most faculty members are aproachable and open to doubts especially during office hoursand lab and project guidence. the faculty student relationship is generally professional but supportive. i like mr. mahesh jangid who teach us dsa in c he is very supportive and he clear the concept very clearly tothe students . he is depty hod of cse branch . he is a senior teacher . the faculties i didn't like is my coa teacher me and many students didnt get what he is trying to teach us . there are many exams like in one semeste there are 6 courses incurent sem i like dsa ,oops and mot courses and i didnt like coa rdbms and s&p. dsa oops and mot exam are very easy but the coa ,rdbms and s&p exam are ltittle bit dufficult . there are many students fail t clear the exam around 150 .
How is the campus life at Manipal University Jaipur?
the overall experience with the campus life is very amazing i met with many people came from different places also i have to learn many things from them . the range and accessibilty of books and journal available in library is very good all bokks areavailable in the library . the classroom are very good in sports there are many facilities which the colllege provide to the students . they offer tennis sport circket , vollybal ,football , basketball and many other . tehre are many clubs like ieee and others like music club .
How are the hostels at Manipal University Jaipur?
The rooms provided by the college is good with study table , bed and chair and attached bathroom and room is provided with double , single and triple sharing and the food is provided four times in a day and the food taste is decent and there is option for north and south too , the campus is clean and give priority to hygiene of the students
