IMT Ghaziabad class timing varies for weeks, sections, programs, semesters , and years. The institute does not have a fixed timetable for each semester. You will receive the timetable for the forthcoming semester via email. Every section follows a different timetable. The classes during the first year usually begin around 9 in the morning. The duration of classes is 75 minutes followed by a 15 min break. Many times there are consecutive classes of the same subject. My senior from school was a student of IMT Ghaziabad and this is what she said when I asked her the same question.
In the field of management education, XIMB (BM) and IMT Ghaziabad are somewhat competitors. Both institutes boast of an excellent environment for learning, both are renowned, both have enviable faculty and placement records. So, if you want to join either college, you can almost guarantee yourself a bright future.
However, if you want to pursue MBA or PGDM in Marketing, then IMT Ghaziabad will be superior to XIBM (BM). Conferences and seminars are conducted by the institute for providing the best education with a practical approach. IMT Ghaziabad was way ahead as per the latest placement reports. In the pre-campus placements, over 150 leading companies took part in offering lucrative packages to the candidates. Some of them even got employment opportunities overseas. 58.22 LPA was the higher package.
So, if you are planning on taking a Marketing specialization, you can’t go wrong with IMT Ghaziabad.
Do people from NIT take admission in IMI Delhi and IMT Ghaziabad for their MBA?
People from NIT and IITs should definitely get admission to IMI Delhi or IMT Ghaziabad. Unlike the general misconception that people from ivy graduate colleges should go for the top PG colleges also, IMT and IMI are rather good choices. If an Institute helps you to build your career then the brand value hardly matters.
I have seen many people who after graduation from NIT and IITs join IMI and are glad to do so. My brother completed his graduation from DTU Delhi and joined IMI for MBA and claims that he was able to learn so many new things in the first 6 months. One of my friends also joined IMI after completing his Engineering from NIT Uttarakhand.
So what I actually mean is people from NIT and IIT can definitely pursue their MBA from IMI and IMT and won’t regret this decision.
