As a current student of IIT Indore, I must tell you that the fests at IIT Indore are really vibrant and energetic. We recently attended the 18th edition of Fluxus Fest in March 2024. It is the annual techno-cultural fest at IIT Indore.

Apart from performances from popular artists like Pineapple Express, Sachin Jigar, etc, the fest also provided a platform for students to present their skills, share ideas, and commemorate the spirit of creativity. We also enjoyed good food from prominent food partners like McDonald's, Domino’s, Hide Out, etc.

The best part about the IIT Indore mathematics department is that they have recently started offering a BTech program in Mathematics and Computing, from 2023 onwards. This programme is specifically intended for undergraduates who have a strong interest in computers and mathematics.

As of the academic year 2023, several IIT Indore Mathematics graduates have secured PhD positions in top universities like the University of South Florida, IIT Delhi, NISER, State University of New York, etc.

The IIT Indore Mathematics department has undergone several developments and is currently one of the best departments in IIT Indore. The department's primary goals are to offer an extensive curriculum, pertinent research, and professional prospects of mathematics in India and abroad.

The Learning Resource Centre of IIT Indore is fully equipped with E-Learning Resources. This is a remote-access library. IIT Indore also has a library mobile app that provides access to e-resources on the subscribers’ smartphones. • Prof. Suman Mukhopadhyay is a professor of Coordination and Organometallic Chemistry in Biology, Catalysis, and Medicinal Applications. He completed his PhD from Jadavpur University in 2004. His research interests are Transition-metal Coordination Chemistry and Organometallic Chemistry in Biology, Catalysis, and Medicinal Applications; Porous Organic Polymers (POPs) and their applications. His important publication is- “Exploring Redox-Active Ionic Porous Organic Polymer in Environmental Remediation & Electrochromic Application”.
