I have completed my UG from LPU. LPUoffers excellent faculty in all the departments, scholarships and 100% placements. These are the reasons why I chose LPU over other colleges/universities for my UG degree.

- Placement: The LPU students get job and internship opportunities from top companies like Microsoft, Cognizant, Oracle, Samsung, IBM, HP, etc. The highest package offered to B.Tech students during the 2024 placements at LPU was INR 50 LPA (Offered by Phone Pe).
- Scholarships: LPU offers various scholarships for meritorious students & students in need of financial assistance. LPU provides scholarships based on the students’ 10th marks/ 12th marks/ graduation marks/ LPUNEST scores/ for lateral entry programs, and more. In 2023, LPU provided scholarship assistance worth INR 100 Crores in total to its students.

Lovely Professional University and Jain University are two of the apex private institutions of the country which provide education in a wide range of subjects and fields. While Jain University is graded ‘A’ by NAAC, both the above-mentioned universities are accredited by UGC. B.Tech. programs are quite popular courses at these institutes. NIRF has ranked Jain University and LPU 117 and 87 for BTech.

LPU has been ranked 99th (overall) by NIRF and the Engineering department has been ranked 87th by NIRF 2020. Whereas Sharda University has been ranked 92nd for Engineering by India Today.

Which is better for Computer Science LPU or Amity Gwalior?
I am currently pursuing B.Tech CSE at LPU. According to me, LPU is one of the best institutes for BTech in Computer Science because of its excellent academics, top placements, scholarship facility, and more.
LPU was ranked 50 by NIRF in 2023 for its Engineering courses. Other than that, LPU has attained the 3rd rank because of the coding expertise demonstrated by its students on the International Coding Platform- HackerEarth. More than 90 students of B.Tech Computer Science at LPU cleared the TCS National Qualifier Test (NQT). The highest package offered to B.Tech Computer Science students at LPU is around INR 64 LPA, and the average package is around INR 14.97 LPA.
I don’t know much about Amity Gwalior, but LPU is definitely a good choice for B.Tech Computer Science.

Lovely Professional University (LPU), on the other hand, is a large campus in India located in Punjab. It offers a wide range of programs including CPE.
- Placement: CIT average CTC is around 38 INR LPA with big recruiters like Goldman Sachs, Microsoft and Oracle. LPU also offers better investment packages than CIT.
- Campus and Facilities: CIT has an excellent campus with decent facilities. Because the LPU is larger, it provides a uniform view for everyone.
- Alumni base: Manipal University has a better alumni base than LPU.
Overall, Manipal University seems to have an advantage in terms of placements, campuses and alumni network.
