Can I get an ECE course in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering DSCE Bangalore with a rank of 30508?

I'm not so sure about that. Back when I was applying, you needed to have a rank below 6,000 to get into the ECE course. You might have better luck trying for other branches at Dayananda Sagar, but probably not at the main campus. There are also shift courses available, and those are considered just as good as the regular ones. So, if you manage to get into one of those, it's the same as being in the main branch. Hope that clears things up!

Are there any reasons to not go to Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering?

For students considering Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, one downside could be the high fees associated with the Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering. The fee structure for COMEDK students is quite steep, with annual costs around INR 281,477, plus additional lab and skill fees.

Many students from outside Karnataka feel the financial burden is considerable, especially compared to local students who pay significantly less. Furthermore, the placements, while decent, often lead to lower packages for branches outside of Computer Science, which might not be appealing for those looking for high-paying jobs right after graduation.

Can you tell me about your branch in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering? Is it worth it to join?

I chose to study Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering mainly because of the strong placement records. The curriculum covers essential topics but could use a bit more focus on practical skills. We have a good number of companies visiting for placements, and the average package is about 9 LPA. The faculty seems knowledgeable, and they do their best to support students. Overall, I feel it's worth it to join this college if you're aiming for a career in tech.
