The Institute does not award diplomas in specific fields such as operations, finance, and marketing. As a result, students of any major are always eligible to apply for any job. Here is the classroom experience of one of the IIM Kashipur students who started in September and had online classes until October. The classes were being held in hybrid mode once a significant number of students had arrived on campus and things appeared to be improving.
It was wonderful to return to the traditional teaching methods of the classroom during his offline classes and learn from our professors in person rather than only through screens. Comparing in-person sessions to online ones, the level of interaction and student participation was significantly higher. Their teachers would cold call them to find out how we interpreted the case's specifics, so everyone had to be prepared with case readings and analyses.
Because no one can see what you are doing on the screen in an online class, you can do some pending work, but in an offline classroom, you must be completely attentive and responsive to the questions posed by the teacher. This made their schedule even more difficult because other tasks needed to be completed at different times of the day.
Overall, the offline MBA experience is unique and serves the true purpose of pursuing an MBA degree where the schedule is hectic and you need to manage everything at your fingertips by increasing your efficiency and working quickly with your teammates. He finds it to be an enthralling experience.
