As per the NIRF ranking 2020, Jain University is ranked 85th whereas the Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College (SBMJC) is ranked 6th in Karnataka and 39th all over India by Education world.

Jain University is approved by AICTE and is accredited by NAAC with an A grade. On the other hand, Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College is the 21st constituent of the Jain Group of institutions and is accredited by NAAC with a B grade.

Courses:

Jain University-

The university offers a broad range of undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs in the field of Commerce, Science, Management, Design, Languages, Engineering & Technology, Law and Humanities & Social Sciences.

The university has highly qualified and well-experienced faculty.

Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College-

The college offers a bachelor’s program in the discipline of Commerce, Management, Computer Science, Physical Science, English, Hindi, and Kannada whereas master’s program in Commerce.

Scholarships:

  • The scholarship offered by JU includes Medha Scholarship, Eklavya Scholarship, Natya Swara Scholarship, and Atharva Scholarship.

Jain University- In India, for several years, the university has maintained the topmost position in campus placement among top private institutions.

Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College-

Which specialization of an MBA is good at Jain University?

One of my friends studies at Jain University. According to him, Finance and Marketing are the best. The college is very well known for both specializations. Placements records and current market trends are also currently on these two specializations so go with it.

  • The college has amazing faculties, upgraded case studies, Live Stock market labs/marketing labs.
  • The University also has startup cell exposure.
  • The faculties are always ready to help and all are Ph.D. qualified or on the way of pursuing it.
  • The curriculum is updated from time to time and relevant.
  • You will get proper industry visits, internships, and seminars conducted by top companies like Microsoft, Google, etc.

Distance: If the college that you wish to join is far away from your home then I would not suggest you join the college if it’s a private institution. For reputed government colleges, you can still try to get admission.

Choose KL University. It is better in terms of academics. KL boasts of excellent academic advisors, and good supporting staff. The campus placements are good, especially for branches like CSE, ECE, etc. Reputed companies such as Aaria Life, IBM, Accenture, SalesForce, etc. take part in the campus drive. According to KL University placements 2022, the average CTC offered was INR 9.7 LPA. While the highest CTC stood around INR 55 LPA.

Which is better: VIT, Bhopal or Jain University, Bangalore?

Studied Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering at Jain University

VIT Bhopal is a better option among these. It is a new campus but it offers similar opportunities as VIT Vellore. Placements are the same for both VIT campuses. Bhopal campus has good facilities. Departments such as CSE, Mechanical, Physics, Chemistry, etc. have well-equipped laboratories. 

VIT Bhopal placements 2022 concluded with the highest CTC of INR 45.03 LPA. Recruiters such as Amazon, JP Morgan Chase, Microsft, etc. frequently visit the campus drive.

The full-time 4 year BTech in Aerospace Engineering degree program at Jain University has a Grade ‘A’ NAAC accreditation and has been ranked at 117 by NIRF in 2020. The course is conducted under the scope of IIAEM.

Course Structure: The curriculum is well-designed and spread across 8 semesters offering a good balance of theory and practical subjects. The last two semesters also require students to submit a practical project.

Faculty: Most of the faculties are alumni members from IIT’S, NAL, ISRO, and ADA. The faculty are also known to help students with internships, and placements through their industry contacts.

Infrastructure: For the aerospace department, the university offers multiple practical laboratories, experimental facilities- like the subsonic wind tunnel facility and research collaborations.

Admissions:

  • To be eligible for admissions students are required to qualify and clear the Jain Entrance Test (JET) conducted by the institution.

  • The selection process is based on the ranking. Apart from that, students must also have a minimum score of 60% in 10+2.
