CS and EC are very different branches. You need to decide which branch interests you more.
EC is about electronics and how the different electrical components communicate with one another. It involves a lot of Physics. It only involves a little programming. CS, on the other hand, is all about programming. It mainly uses logic and math.
If you are interested in programming, CSAI from IIIT Lucknow is the better choice. AI/ML is in huge demand in the industry as most things will be automated in the future. Placements and coding culture are top-notch at all these colleges. Students from IIIT Lucknow and IIIT Bangalore perform well in competitions like ACM ICPC.
All these colleges are good. You should make your choice based on your field of interest.
The iMTech in CSE is a highly regarded and unique program offered by IIIT Bangalore offering excellent exposure to its students. Here are the pros and cons of pursuing this course
Pros:
Cons:
Considering everything, IIIT Bangalore will take a few more years to establish itself and therefore should only be considered if you have no better options.
The iMTech course at IIIT Bangalore is quite challenging and rigorous. The students are evaluated weekly through tests and assignments. They hardly get any free time. However, students joining this course are aware of the right and still are committed to hard work.
A friend who joined the recent batch shared her experience. The first quiz took place just 12 days from the orientation after which quizzes were scheduled for every week. She had to go through strict deadlines for completion of 50% of Python and C in just 2 weeks.
The college has a very rigorous academic ambiance helping students to become punctual and learn time management. Some energetic souls despite their busy schedules, spare time for sports, competitions, hackathons, fests, and other fun activities.
So eventually you choose the quality of life at IIIT Bangalore!

So choose wisely after weighing the pros and cons of the stream.
IIIT Bangalore is a CS-oriented college that operates from a tiny campus with limited facilities. It’s CS-tailored curriculum and ambiance is what attract coding lovers. As of now, it has only two branches namely CS and ECE. Another great aspect is its no reservation policy which ensures the quality of the crowd is not compromised at all. Here are a few key differences between CS at Manipal and CS at IIIT Bangalore.
Overall, IIIT Bangalore is a better choice for pursuing a course in CS.
One of my friends scored lower marks in GATE and has the option to choose between IIIT Bangalore and lower NITs only. She decided to take a drop year and surprisingly got even lower marks. She decided to take admission to IIIT Bangalore on the basis of the previous year's score.
So, before making an impulsive decision, always ask yourself what exactly you are seeking from your degree. Is it a high package? If yes then can’t you tolerate a good product company for the next few months and get a job? Also, if you are interested in research, then it’s better to consider better options like the top IITs.
Make a well-informed decision after considering all facts and figures.
A few years ago my brother appeared for JEE Main and scored 222. He got admission to IIIT Bangalore. His batchmates scored a similar score and the highest score was 230. The majority of the batch scored in the range of 190–195.

Without any second thoughts, IIT Delhi MnC is the best option among all the aforementioned colleges. It's one of the top 5 IIts and moreover, its MnC program is highly sought after by engineering aspirants. The preference order in your case should be
It's safe to say that none of the above colleges can match the standard of IIT Delhi, which is in itself a brand. MnC is quite similar to CSE though a few core computer courses are not included. Also, this branch is handled by the Mathematics department and not the CSE department. However, if you are more inclined towards CSE than MnC, then the best options for you would be IITR or IITG CSE.
It’s highly illogical to compare IIIT Hyderabad with IIIT Bangalore. The former belongs to a different league altogether in terms of faculty, course structure, coding culture, and opportunities. The students are very ambitious and IIIT Hyderabad is a college that has students who have managed to reach the top 20 in the world finals of ACM ICPC which is considered to be the Olympics of coding. The exposure offered is unparalleled and it’s second only to that offered in IIT or BITS.
However, admission to IIIT Hyderabad is done on the basis of the JEE score which is pretty low compared to the cutoffs for that college. In that case, you will have IIIT Bangalore as the only better option. Another decent option is DA-IICT.
So, if you have the option, go for IIIT Hyderabad without any doubts.
If you are given these options, your rank in JEE Mains must be near 10k, and that in KCET >= 100. I was faced with similar choices, so I am listing down the pros and cons of each option-
If you are planning for an M.Tech in near future, choose IIITB. The iMtech will allow you to complete two degrees in five years, and you won’t be stressed over GATE exams. IIIT Bangalore offers the best placements. This is because Bangalore is the center of major IT and Electronics brands.
I chose iMtech at IIIT Bangalore because of these reasons. You must choose the option that best suits your personal preferences. All the three institutions are well renowned.
