I have a friend who is currently pursuing ECE from REVA University. His experience with the institute has been quite good.

  • The department has a great faculty base.
  • The academic environment at the institute is also good.
  • The department provides skill development programs every year, which is quite helpful.

  • The department organizes many technical seminars. IEEE conducts workshops too, which are helpful.

So, REVA University can be a good option if you are interested in ECE.

M.Tech Information and Technology & Electronics and Communication Engineering, REVA University
I have a few friends from REVA University. According to their experience, it is a decent option if you are interested in doing a B.Tech CSE program. The placement record for the university is quite average. In recent years, the average CTC offered in the placement drive was around 4.5-5.5 LPA.
  • REVA University does offer decent exposure in terms of technical certifications, national and international conferences.
  • The faculties and teaching staff of the institute are good.

REVA University can be a valid choice if you are considering doing a B.Tech in CSE.

  • Placement rates are low with some students reporting around 30% placement percent.

Program focus areas:

PES University:

  • MCA at PES university includes topics like professional ethics, modern tool usage, innovation and entrepreneurship, and others.

  • It aims at finding solutions to complex problems and also designing various experiments.

  • It teaches students to efficiently apply contemporary IT tools to Computer applications.

Reva University:

Vinima Bhola Posted On : June 21st, 2025

You can enrol in REVA University's B.Com course if you have completed your 12th grade (PCMC, or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science) from an approved board.  To be eligible for REVA University's B.Com programme, you must have finished Class 12 (or its equivalent) in any subject that fits your background, including Science with Mathematics.

Things to keep in mind:

 • Eligibility: Class 12 pass (any stream is OK, though some specialisations may benefit more from mathematics).

 • Minimum Marks: For B.Com (Hons), a minimum of 45–50% of the total marks is needed, but this is not always the case.

 • Application Procedure: Use the REVA University admissions portal to submit an online application.  Admission is determined on merit.

 • Specialisations: There are many B.Com. Specialisations available include international business, banking, taxation, finance, and accounting.
