It depends upon the placement cell and their relations with the companies. Various companies like TCS, Infosys, Jaro, Persistent systems, and other top companies are the consistent recruiters from the University Institute of Technology, RGPV with good CTC.

UIT RGPV provides internship opportunities with AICTE based virtual internships in this pandemic. Students participate in project-based internships and work with MNC's as an intern to get product based knowledge.

UIT RGPV Bhopal is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidiyalaya (RGPV). The institute has highly experienced faculty members most of them being PhD holders from institutes like IITs and NITs. 

LNCT-S Bhopal is approved by AICTE and was ranked 100 in the engineering category by NIRF 2018. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidiyalaya (RGPV). 

Admission Details - 

• Students should have 50-60% in their 10+2 qualifying exams.
• JEE rank is mandatory for BTech admission.
• Students applying for postgraduate courses should have 60% in their graduation in BTech or BE.
• MTech students will be selected on the basis of GATE rank.
• The final selection will be based on the entrance exam.

• CSE graduates can work as System Database Administrator, Computer Programmer, Engineering Support Specialist, Data Warehouse Analyst, System Designer, Software Developer, Software Engineer, Lecturer or Professor, Computer Operator and Research Analyst.

• The other facilities include all time internet connectivity, central computer centre, guest house and transport.

LNCT-S Bhopal

• Separate hostels of boys and girls are available with all the basic necessities like canteen, public phone, cold drinking water, hot bathing water, etc.
• They also have a Library.
• They provide 85 busses for students for easy transportation.

Due to the rapidly growing corporate industry there is a constant need for computer engineers or CSE graduates by the numerous organizations in the IT sectors. CSE is considered the most popular engineering specializations. So, choosing CSE over Automobile Engineering in any college of your choice will be a better option because of the former's popularity and demand.

UIT RGPV is good for Mechanical Engineering. However, things vary with each one of us.

If you want to prepare for higher studies like MS or competitive exams like the GATE or CAT, it is good because you will get a sufficient amount of time. If not, you will end up working in companies like TCS being graduated in Mechanical Engineering from UIT RGPV.

If you have better options you can opt accordingly. UIT is good for B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering you can pursue.

Yes, you can switch your college but make sure to do the following things beforehand:

• Keep good grades, in case someone else also applies for it you can be the best available candidate.
• Download the college transfer form from the RGPV website.
• Keep following UIT, RGPV's website to know when the procedure starts and the number of seats available for different branches, and in which caste category.

Importantly, you will need a NOC (Non-objection certificate) from your college stating that they don't have any problem with you changing the college. This is tricky because colleges like OIST will not do that because if they do so, they will lose students and fees.

But once you're done with NOC, you can come for the counseling process in UIT RGPV.

LNCT is recognized by AICTE and NBA and is affiliated under Rajiv Gandhi Technical University. It is ranked 251 among top institutes for BTech among NIRF 2020 Rankings. In 2019-20, a total of 964 students were placed in top companies.

LNCT definitely has a better placement record than UIT RGPV Bhopal. The highest salary package offered is 19.5 LPA by LNCT whereas UIT RGPV Bhopal, their highest salary package offered is 10.05 LPA. 

Some of my friends studied at UIT RGPV. According to them, there is not much difference because the syllabus of both branches is pretty similar. Only a few subjects are different. Here I will be providing some facts which might give you a clear picture.

• A CS degree isn't required for an IT professional, but it can open doors that might otherwise be closed to you. 
• IT workers usually work in a business environment, setting up internal networks and computer systems, as well as programming.
• Computer Scientists operate in a variety of settings, including enterprises, universities, and video game design studios. 
• Both of these professions have strong growth potential and pay, with software developers earning slightly more than IT specialists.
• While IT and CS degrees might lead to comparable employment, there are significant differences between the two. 
• Computer technicians love installing computers, operating software, and managing networks and databases. 
• Computer scientists appreciate mathematics and program creation. 

In general, information technology and computer science have a close and intertwined relationship.

UIT RGPV is one of the premier engineering colleges in Central India for pursuing automobile engineering. It provides one of the best infrastructure and good placements for BTech courses. The institute ranks 102nd and offers attractive job opportunities of 95% placements every year.

Course structure:

The degree of automobile engineering offers various specializations in aerodynamics, emission, motorsports, etc. A fresh graduate in this field can earn an average salary of INR 2 to 6 LPA.

• A minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as primary subjects. 
• JEE Main is necessary for the admission in B.Tech automobile engineering.
• The cutoff required is 88393 - 274034.
• The program fee required is INR 23,920.
• The institute houses a total intake of 60 students. 

Placement:

The college organises both on-campus and off-campus placement drives so that the students get placed in reputed companies. 

The top recruiting companies are Tata Motors, Honda, Ford, Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, Bajaj, Renault Nissan, General Motors, Maruti Suzuki, etc. 

Faculty:

The faculties of UIT RGPV are mostly friendly and supportive. They are very much cooperative and help the students in every aspect.

Facilities:-

• The hostel has a 24 hours water supply and all the basic amenities and provides an accommodation of 200 students in each hostel.
• The college has well-equipped laboratories and has a rich collection of books over different topics.

 It depends on the choice and interests of the students. Although, the placement opportunities are significantly less after pursuing automobile engineering, however, if you want to pursue masters, then you can join UIT RGPV for sure.

LNCT Bhopal is far better than UIT Bhopal in terms of placement and academics, I say this based on the conversations I had with my friends from these institutes. 

• If you are getting UIT, you should join it because it is a government college and the fee structure is lower than LNCT. It will cost around INR 94,000 while a B.E degree from LNCT will cost around 2.64 lakhs. 
• UIT Bhopal is also good in terms of placement. The average CTC offered at the institute is 4-6 LPA. But if money is not an issue, go for LNCT. 

Also, placement is not the only criterion for selecting a college as it is determined by your skills as well as your personality and attitude toward life. So, it doesn't matter which college you attend; what matters is how you utilize those four years to develop the required skill set for the profile.
