Which is a better college for a B.Com Bhawanipur Education Society College Kolkata or Shri Shikshayatan College Kolkata?
Both Bhawanipur Education Society and Shri Shikshayatan are reputed colleges in Kolkata. They admit their students on a merit basis. Their cut off is usually high but if you have average scores you will get a chance in their 2nd or 3rd lists.
Shri Shikshayatan is an all girls college and requires a better academic record. Both colleges are more or less the same. They differ in infrastructure, faculty and overall fees. Shri Shikshayatan has better infrastructure than Bhawanipur with better well maintained buildings, auditorium, gym and swimming pool.
Bhawanipur encourages students to join their college clubs and committees, they believe in the holistic development of the students along with academics. The college hosts, organizes and takes part in several inter-college festivals, cultural activities, competitions, etc. which take place all year long. Among the colleges, Ramanujan College is best. It has a great campus. The infrastructure is quite good too. There are smart classes with ACs. The atmosphere at the campus is good for academics. It is one of the top-ranked colleges in India. In 2021, it was ranked 43 for commerce by Outlook 2021. The faculty base of the institute is good too. The campus is surrounded by many food joints, cafes, bars, lounges.

I am pursuing CA Should I do B.Com P or B.Com H from DU SOL?
You should not seek a B. Com course from DU SOL neither Program nor honors. As a CA candidate, you should get enrolled in a B.com program from IGNOU. In comparison to DU SOL, it will provide you with a higher level of education with good faculty members and facilities for a B.Com program.
The biggest advantage would be that you only have to attempt 4 or 5 tests during the entirety of your course. According to the terms and conditions of the MOU and your CA Results, you will be excused from another subject based on certain conditions. One of my friends studied at Delhi University. According to him, taking admission at PGDAV for B.Com will prove to be good for your career.

Which college is better for a B Com hons Shyam Lal College or Sri Aurobindo?
I have a few friends from both Shyam Lal College (Delhi) and Sri Aurobindo. Here is what you can expect from the institutes.
Shyam Lal College (Delhi):
- Infrastructure: The institute is not the best if we focus on its infrastructure and amenities, as per the requirements of the students. The washrooms are typically not in their best condition, unlike other institutes as well. However, the food quality of the canteen is favorably above average.
- Placements: As per the reports, only about 40% to a maximum of 45% of the entire strength secure placements. The average salary package witnessed until now can range anywhere between INR 4 - 6 Lacs per Annum (LPA).
- Faculty: On a brighter note, the faculty members of the institute are undoubtedly exceptional.
Sri Aurobindo College:
- Educational prospects: Sri Aurobindo College is quite good for the commerce department.
- Placements: Several top-tier companies visit the campus during the placement season, for instance, E&Y being one huge name among many others.
