For MCA, one of my friends studying at Nirma suggested that if you're going for the first year, make sure you know your basics.

Thapar University offers a good MCA program. The institute has a brilliant MCA faculty base. It offers good learning resources, and laboratory facilities to meet the requirement of students.
Thapar University placement highlights show the average CTC offered to MCA students is around INR 7 LPA. While the highest CTC offered is around INR 8 LPA. TCS, Infosys, and Fidelity are among the major recruiters in the placement drive.
The MCA course in general is a very demanding subject in the IT industry. You need to keep yourself updated with the latest trends in the industry to match proper excellence.
Some of the top IT companies visit the campus include Oracle, TCS, Genpact, IBM, Byju's, Infosys, Wipro, and many others. Therefore it is totally worth it to pursue an MCA degree from Sanskriti University.
Don’t choose Amity University for a master's degree. Amity has good campuses and infrastructure. For bachelor's, it is a decent option. But for MCA, you should consider reputed colleges under state universities or central universities. JNU, NIT, and IIT are some good options for MCA. If you need, you can take a gap year and prepare again.
No, students who have not taken Mathematics at either the 10+2 (Class 12) or undergraduate level are not eligible for MCA admission at NIT Durgapur.
Students must have completed their undergraduate studies or 10+2 coursework in any discipline with mathematics as a topic in order to meet NIT Durgapur's MCA eligibility requirements. Since mathematics is an essential component of the curriculum, this is a regular prerequisite for the majority of NITs and universities offering MCA.

If you have a BSc in math and wish to work as a software engineer, the MCA is usually the easiest and most efficient route. Additional benefits might be available if you can obtain a BTech lateral entry in computer science from a reputable institution, although this is less usual and more restrictive. Choose between specialised IT skills and a more general engineering background, taking into account your access to lateral entry alternatives.

At present, CMR University charges a total of 2 lakhs per year as course fee for MCA.
To be honest, CMR University is good for engineering courses, but it is just average for an MCA. Around 60-70% MCA students are offered placements, but a good number of companies visit the campus for recruitments.
Some of the remaining students are the ones with backlog(s). The highest package is around 20 LPA, and the lowest is around 3.75 LPA. Amazon, Mercedes, Kochi, Samsung, Cognizant, EY, etc. visit for recruitments. Most of them offer full stack software development roles.
The campus is not fully covered with Wifi. The library is not very large, and the canteen stalls offer very limited meal options. The stalls become heavily crowded during breaks, but the quality of food is good. Internals are conducted every month, but the curriculum and faculty are both good.
Overall, CMR is a decent option for an MCA. But you should also consider other better colleges for this degree.
