How do the placements really compare between LPU BCA and Amity University Noida BCA?

D
DizzyDragonDream Posted On : April 14th, 2026

I would recommend LPU over Amity Noida. Amity seems to rely on its brand name, but the placement opportunities after course completion aren't impressive. Currently, LPU has more than 500 companies recruiting from its campus. Companies like Apple, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, and many more are among them.

Last year, LPU saw a student bagging the highest package of 42 LPA offered by Microsoft, which is the highest ever for a B.Tech student.

LPU also provides international placement opportunities. Here are a few examples:

  • Ritz Carlton Hotel USA offered a package of Rs 22 LPA
  • Hyatt Regency, Great Wolf Lodge offered a package of Rs 15 LPA
  • Qatar Airways Doha, Al Rakha Group Dubai offered a package of Rs 22 LPA

Thank you!

Which one should I opt for LPU B.Pharm or Amity University Noida B.Pharm

E
ExcellentEagle Posted On : April 13th, 2026

LPU B.Pharm offers a strong focus on practical aspects like internships and job placements in the health industry, which is great for those looking to secure a job post-graduation. Many students have reported good placement opportunities in manufacturing, retail, and clinical units, which is a plus. On the other hand, Amity University Noida also provides a solid curriculum with access to resources, but the reviews suggest that LPU might edge ahead in terms of actual job placements and industry connections. If you're looking for better job prospects and a more hands-on approach, I'd recommend going with LPU B.Pharm; however, if you prefer a more prestigious environment with a broader academic focus, Amity could be a good choice.

Does LPU give CPI or aggregate in B.Sc (Agriculture) at the end

D
DreamDragon Posted On : April 13th, 2026

In LPU for B.Sc (Agriculture), you get your results in the form of CPI (Cumulative Performance Index) rather than aggregate marks. It’s pretty straightforward and helps us track our performance over the semesters. I found this system useful because it gives a clearer picture of how I’m doing overall rather than just focusing on the aggregate, which can sometimes be misleading.

How is M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering branch at LPU? What about its placement in 2025/26?

T
TheAzureAnole Posted On : April 13th, 2026

Pursuing M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at LPU has been a mixed bag for me. The curriculum is engaging, especially with the emphasis on research papers in every subject. It's challenging but not overwhelming, which keeps us on our toes. For placements in 2025/26, I think we have good prospects since companies are eager to hire from LPU, although we need to pay for placement services. The fees can be a bit high, but they do offer scholarships based on our previous performance, which helps a lot. Overall, I feel like I’m in the right place for my career goals.

Should I go for MBA in LPU or MBA Human Resource Management in Amity University Noida?

S
SeasonedSeal Posted On : April 13th, 2026

In terms of placements, Amity University Noida stands out with a higher average package of around 8-9 lakh and a 95% placement rate, which is significantly better than LPU's average package of 4-5 lakh. Amity also offers strong internship opportunities, like with Amazon, which can give you a solid edge in your career. While LPU does have a good curriculum and events, the overall job prospects seem more promising at Amity. I’d recommend Amity if you’re aiming for better job and package outcomes, especially in HR management.
