IIT Madras offers the following part-time courses:

• Web-enabled MTech course: It is designed for working professionals and can be completed according to their pace. They can access classes in the evenings after completing their work. 
• Diploma course: IIT Madras offers diploma courses in programming and data science through the Centre for Continuous Education (CCE). These programs are flexible and students can learn at their own pace. 
• Online undergraduate programs - IIT Madras offers a BSc degree in programming and data science and a BS degree in Electronic systems in an online mode. This allows students to complete the course as per their schedule.
• IIT Madras EMBA: It is a 2-year-long MBA course for working professionals whose classes are conducted every alternate weekend in an offline mode.
• NPTEL: IIT Madras has many courses available on NPTEL designed by its faculties in various disciplines. Students can complete the courses to acquire a certificate. 

IIT Madras EMBA or Executive MBA is designed specifically for mid-career working professionals looking to learn new skills and improve their chances of getting promoted to higher positions. IIT Madras EMBA course duration is 2 years. The classes are conducted on every alternate weekend in an offline mode. 

The total fee for IIT Madras EMBA course is INR 17 lakhs. You can also pay a per semester fee of INR 4.25 lakhs for 4 semesters. To be eligible for the program, candidates are required to possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 60% or marks. They are also required to have 3 years of work experience. 

Online application for the program will begin in September 2024. Shortlisted candidates will be screened during the 1st week of November through a written test and an interview. Results will be posted in December 2024 and the classes will commence from January 2025.
