So, you will have enough options to buy it from there. You need to pay the canteen for food or prepare food by yourself. The quality and hygiene of food is maintained. The hostel maintains strict decorum. No food is allowed inside the hostels and there is a strict dress code that you will have to keep in mind. There is a biometrics system installed at the hostel. You must sign out once in the morning and sign in the evening before 8:30 PM. The registration process for the hostel is smooth and easy to understand. The seats are limited so first-cum-first-serve basis is followed.
The hostel facility is available for all students at Christ University and is located within our college premises. The college hostel is well maintained and has strict schedules. Biometric punching systems are installed, so you need to be very thorough about the timings. The sign out needs to be done before 8:30 AM and signed in at 9:30 PM. If you fail to maintain this, then you will be fined. If you are a girl, your hostel room will be either double or triple-sharing. And if you are a boy, your hostel room has three and four occupancy. There is a common washroom which is well-maintained. Hot water and elevator facilities are available. The hostel fees do not include food services. 7 canteens on the campus have diverse food options. You need to keep in mind that the registration process is online. During your admission, a South Indian Bank account will be made through which the hostel fees will be paid. If you want to stay independently, there are even hostels and PGs that are situated in the locality.
Yes, general students at Christ University are eligible for various merit and need-based scholarships and financial aid. Christ University offers a Merit Scholarship in September every year based on the pre-entry marks, mid-semester test, and attendance. The scholarship is offered as a percentage refund of fees. There is a fee concession of 50% if the course fee is up to INR 10,000. For course fees between INR 10-25 K, the concession is 25%, and 10% for fees above INR 25,000.
Christ University also offers financial assistance to economically weaker students, especially from rural areas enrolled in the first year of UG and PG courses.
