Based on the average package, I would recommend you opt for either MNIT Jaipur ECE or MANIT Bhopal CSE. MANIT Bhopal is a good option for B.Tech CSE. If you choose Mechanical Engineering as a branch, it is far better than Computers, where the second one is more subjective than the first one. For this reason, you can easily become an expert in computer programming, and it is not so easy to become a mechanical engineering expert.

IIIT Allahabad ECE is the best among these. It has a better course structure. The infrastructure and facilities are better as well.

IIIIT Allahabad ECE average package is INR 12.5 LPA. More than 85% of students of the branch get offers from dream companies. ECE MNC companies such as Qualcomm visit the campus placements.
Which is better NIT Kurukshetra CS or MNNIT Allahabad IT?
A few of my friends graduated from NIT Kurukshetra and MNNIT Allahabad. According to them, MNNIT is a better institution. Here’s presenting some facts as to why they prefer MNNIT over NIT KKR.
- In NIT Kurukshetra the cut-off can go as high as 5000, and in MNNIT the cut-off goes around 3000. The lower the cutoff means better college.

Which one should I choose, IIIT Allahabad (IT), MNIT Allahabad (IT), NIT Bhopal (CSE), or NIT Jalandhar (CSE)?
IIIT Allahabad is better than MNIT Allahabad if you are interested in coding. Although NITs and IIIT Allahabad both are centrally funded technical institutes. The only difference is the course curriculum as IIIT Allahabad focuses only on IT and ECE. Due to this, minor subjects like Chemistry, Applied Mechanics, Engineering Drawing are dropped in 1st and 2nd semester itself.
NITs have a long legacy making it more reputable with strong alumni across all domains. On the other hand, IIITA is a young institution and follows innovative academic policies. Its alumni members are even present in Silicon Valley in a short span of time.
You can decide your own priorities in the career. If you are interested in coding culture and look forward to great internships and placements with a small cozy campus, you should prefer IIIT Allahabad. You should opt for MNIT Allahabad if you are interested in meeting new people with diverse backgrounds. It will help you in enhancing your personality.

The strength in NIT-A is approximately twice as compared to IIIT-A. And every year this strength keeps increasing. As you know that the quality decreases with the increase in strength, I would again suggest you choose IIIT-A.

- The first tip is obvious, start coding. There are various online forums that you can use to learn and track your progress. Be consistent. Seek guidance from seniors who are good at coding.

- ‘AVISHKAR’ is a great opportunity to do mini projects of your interest. It’s not mandatory, but doing such projects will make your resume stand out.
3rd semester is easier than the rest of the semesters. It is easier to score as well. Second year is ideal for improving your CPI.

If you are planning between these two, NITC CSE is a really good option. They offer cushy packages and decent companies visit the institute.

Eventually, it boils down to which college meets your needs better.
I got an AIR rank of 3964 in the JEE Mains. Which one should I prefer, MNNIT Allahabad for computer science or electronics or DTU for software engineering?
Both MNNIT Allahabad and DTU are well-established and much-reputed colleges. If you get admission to any of the colleges, your future will be bright and you will land up really well in companies.
Moreover, choose a branch that excites you as it is equally important as the college you will take admission in. If programming excites you, then MNNIT CSE is the best choice. If not, you can go for hardware options i.e. Electronics. Though, I'm not sure how good the software engineering of DTU is.
In terms of placements and research areas, MNNIT is not extreme but fine. You won’t get excellent faculties but you will learn a lot from their experiences. Try not to be depending on your faculty in your college life. You'll have to develop your interest and learn on your own.
Do not think only about the college but make sure you choose the correct branch as well. Both are equally important as you know that your future will depend on them.
What should I prefer, MTech (CSE) at DTU or MTech (CSE) at MNNIT Allahabad?
You should prefer MTech CSE at DTU. It offers better facilities. The infrastructure and hostel facilities of DTU are great. Located in the heart of Delhi, it offers better exposure to the industry. It is comparably easier to receive live projects, internships, and placement opportunities. Companies such as Microsoft, Wipro, Cisco, etc. take part in DTU placements. The average CTC for MTech CSE students is around INR 10 LPA - 12 LPA.
