My brother stayed in the hostels at NIT Trichy for 4 years. As per his experience, the weather is mostly hot with heavy rainfall during certain seasons.

• The factor of adaptability is the first thing you will be required here. 
• Be prepared for waiting in a queue for a shower. You will be facing situations where you have to be very punctual.
• Hot water would also not be available during the winter season. 
• There are numerous shops available on campus where you can purchase items for daily necessities.
• Few things that you can pack for your hostel at NIT Trichy include: Bedsheets, Pillow covers, Towels and Clothes.
• If you are cautious about your skin, then I would suggest that you pack a sunscreen lotion as you can get sunburns at the hostel. 
• You can pack a pair of formal shirts and pants for formal occasions. Although, for classes, it is not mandatory to wear something formal.
• Additionally, you can carry along a kettle with you if you like eating Maggi or late-night snacks. 

So, if all these factors do not appear to be an issue for you, then your experience surely would be fine. You don't need to be concerned.

One of my friends stays nearby Tiruchirappalli. According to him, unfortunately, NIT Trichy is located in a place called Thuvakudi which is at a distance of 20 km and 40 km from Trichy and Thanjavur respectively.

• There are only villages around the college which means you won't get any hotels nearby. 
• You might have to stay in one, as it is one of the many options provided by Trichy.
• The nearest hotel is pretty good, it is Hotel Grand Gardenia. You can check it out from the traveling websites. 
• Also, there are a lot of other cheap hotels within 200 m of the bus stand.
• Sangam is one of the best hotels in Trichy. It is also quite near to the main bus stand. 
• SRM is also equally good.
• For your stay in Trichy, Ramya's Hotels is the best hotel which is near to the Railway Station and Central Bus Stand. 
• They have different types of rooms according to the guest's expectations. 
• They provide all types of facilities like free wifi, heater, room service, valet car parking, etc.

The majority of the hotels are present in Trichy city whereas NIT Trichy is about 18 km from the main city. It approximately takes one hour to travel. So, if you wanna choose the best hotels in Trichy simply select Ramyas Hotels.

The course of DoMS is decent. But the question of whether to join this or not requires the student's information in detail. 

• The information includes the expectations from this course. 
• The experience a student has in this field, and the academic qualifications. 
• When it comes to NIT Trichy, it's a decent place. The course is also good and has low fees. 
• The placement after the course is great and hence it has a high ROI.

The placement cell will have all of your information entered into their placement portal, and they will be aware of everything, so if you give the firm an erroneous résumé, whether intentionally or unintentionally, they will be notified. Because there are so many students, your college will try to set minimum eligibility standards for them by requesting or something similar. 

To make things clearer, I'll give you an example. 

1. Let's say Amazon Cloud is on the way, they've left the pointer criteria at 6, with no criteria in the 10+2 range.
2. Deloitte arrives on the second day and demands 60+ in 10+2+3.You won't be able to do anything because Deloitte does it all throughout India. Colleges don't matter as per their rules.

However, if a random startup comes along and offers a nice, attractive package and has policy rules similar to the ones listed above. But the placement cell can request them to ease the criteria if students have low scores. It now hinges on the company's reputation. It is applicable to every institute. 

If NIT Trichy is your only option, then you can go for it. But for Civil Engineering infrastructure can be a vital factor. 

The budget that usually is allocated for infrastructure incorporates buying lands from peasants to fund the research later on with a low-cost housing or environmental impact assessment. 

If you have chosen Civil Engineering, based on your electives, you could opt to specialize in Hydraulics engineering, Structural engineering, Environmental engineering, Building materials, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Construction Management, Infrastructural engineering, and other relevant disciplines. 

It is best to get familiar with the topics briefly noted above. Based on your knowledge and expertise, choose one (or more, if required) of the many specializations and then do a brief research on the basic amenities, like faculty strength and similar aspects of NIT Trichy. 

However, in terms of academics, NIT Trichy is an excellent choice.

• If not that, then the college itself will release the number of seats on the website for the students who are still interested in enrolling.

On the other hand, there is a high possibility that NIT Warangal also has the same procedure but my brother wasn’t sure about it.
