To answer your question, yes, you can get into IIT Bombay with Rank 3000 in your JEE Advanced. But you’ll have a limited number of stream options, and you won’t get into the CSE or Electrical branch. If you are eligible for female-only, or other category seats, your choices might improve.

IIT Bombay offers relaxation on the total fee for certain quotas and underprivileged students. For students belonging to the OBC category the fees per semester are around INR 1,05,000 and the advance fees for the mess are around 20500 INR. But if you have a family income of less than INR 1,00,000 then you will get remission, where the amount that you will be paying per semester is around INR 35,000. OBC students can also apply for scholarships wherein they get financial support from the college based on their merit or family’s financial condition.
