My sister was a fresher in Engineering Design and spent the best time of her life at IIT Madras making new friends from different cultures and managing to share a room with a stranger. She felt a sense of freedom never experienced before which made her all the more responsible.
Once the classes began, everything was set in motion from waking up early, grabbing a quick breakfast, and running to your classes. The professors were particularly strict regarding punctuality. The academic system of grading, teaching, and flow of the course is unique and well-structured.
Most of your free time will be spent in club performances, team orientations, and themed cultural and technical fest shows and events. The entire experience is unique as you get to explore things you were unaware of.
