For pursuing MBA, your major during graduation does not matter. You will need to secure a 50% score in your graduation to be eligible for admission in MBA. However, you will have to give either CAT or MAT examination and your score in these exams will determine whether you will be eligible for taking admission or not. The cut-off marks are decided every year and students secure admission in MBA on the basis of their performance in either of these two examinations. So, yes you will have to give either CAT or MAT. Christ University also considered work experience so try to do an internship during your graduation which will be an added point in your resume. Brush up your communication and leadership skills as well.

The Christ university does not offer direct internship opportunities to the students, but they create placement representatives who are elected from each of the batches to reach out to different companies to get internships for the students. 

The interns are mentored by senior scholars and paired with other interns to promote collaboration in research. A certificate is offered to the candidate post internship. This helps the students to showcase their experience during their final interview with different organizations. 

In 2023, one of the students of Christ University was offered the highest package of INR 18 LPA from the MBA course. The average package for the year 2024 is around INR 7.7 LPA. In the year 2022, Christ University has seen a placement rate of 79%. 

You can expect to get placed at top companies that visit the university every year. Not just placement Christ University provides internship opportunities where many students tend to crack pre-placement offers with decent packages even before the final placement drive starts. With reports of good placement opportunities for business, law and management courses and engineering courses as well. • Yes, you are eligible to pursue a full-time MBA from Christ University if you have completed your BBA from another university in distance mode. 
• However, make sure that your university from which you have pursued your undergraduate degree is a well recognized university and is approved by NAAC, DEB, UGC, etc. 
• Also, to take admission in MBA, you will have to meet the eligibility criteria in terms of marks and exams that are considered for taking MBA admission. 
• In Christ University, you will also have to go through different stages of group discussion, presentation and personal interview to be considered for admission in MBA.

So, you are not eligible to apply for an MBA in 2024 with ATMA 2023 scores. You need to take the ATMA 2024 exam for admission.

I am a second year MBA student at Christ University Bangalore.

As per the Christ University guidelines, the applicants are asked to pay attention while entering their previous marks in the online application form. These marks are used for shortlisting the candidates. An error in marks is considered as fraudulence or falsification of marks, and this may lead to the cancellation of that candidate’s application.

But since you’ve committed a mistake, you may email the authorities with the correct information. As a result, they may change the information on your application. You can probably change the information once you are shortlisted and called for the admission process. At this stage, they recheck the entered information, and you can use this time to tell them about the error. 

I myself made a lot of mistakes in my application form, but since your mistake is related to marks, I would suggest you contact the authorities as soon as possible. 

Christ University (especially the Bangalore campus) is a good option for an MBA in HR. It has AAA+ rating and decent placements. The university has a good reputation in Bangalore. 

I was recommended to join Christ University for an MBA in HR by my friends, as I had a decent score in my CAT examination. 

During 2024 placements, the Aditya Birla Group visited Christ University with an offer of INR 10 LPA for the recruitment of HR Trainees from among the MBA students. The median package offered to Christ University MBA students is around INR 7-8 LPA.

But I would like to highlight that if you have a high CAT/GMAT/XAT score, you should look for the top management schools first. In this case, you should keep Christ University as a backup option.
