Yenepoya University is now accepting applications for PhD programs for the July 2025 session. The entrance test will take place on May 10, 2025. Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 3500/-(Non- Refundable).

Yenepoya University PhD Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria
- A minimum of 55% marks or 'B' grade in the UGC 7-point scale for Master's degree holders.
- A 5% relaxation (50%) is allowed for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), differently-abled candidates, or those who completed their Master’s degree before 1991.
- Candidates without clear marks/grades may apply with equivalence committee approval.
- A 5% relaxation (50%) is also allowed for those with M.Phil., MD/MS, M.Sc., DM, M.Ch, DNB, or MDS degrees.
Yenepoya University PhD Admission 2025: Documents Required
- 1 recent passport size photo to be pasted + 2 copies attached
- Attested copy of Postgraduate degree certificate and marks cards
- Attested copy of SSLC and PUC marks cards
- Research proposal (3 copies) submitted (in triplicate)
- One soft copy of the Research Proposal
- No objection certificate from present employer
- Attested copy of the domicile certificate, passport, birth certificate,e etc
- For applicants who are employed at the time of submission of application
- Application is forwarded by (signature and seal) Head of Department and Head of Institution
To apply for the Ph.D. program, candidates must use the prescribed form available at the Registrar’s office or on the university website (www.yenepoya.edu.in). The admission process consists of two stages: an entrance test and an interview.
The entrance test, held at Yenepoya University on a notified date, covers 50% research methodology and 50% subject-specific content. Candidates must score at least 50% in the entrance exam to be eligible for the interview. The final interview/viva voce is conducted by the Ph.D. Admission Committee.
