XLRI – Xavier School of Management Jamshedpur has opened admissions for its FPM/EFPM 2026 entry.

Admissions are now open at XLRI Jamshedpur for the 2026 batch of its doctoral‐level programs, the full-time Residential Fellow Program in Management (FPM) and the Executive Fellow Program in Management (EFPM).
Candidates looking to apply must submit their applications by December 5, 2025. Both programmes prepare scholars for high-level research, academia or leadership in industry. This year’s intake emphasises academic rigour, work experience and research aptitude. Immediate applications are encouraged as selection is competitive.

XLRI Jamshedpur FPM/EFPM Admission Eligibility Criteria
For the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), XLRI Jamshedpur has outlined multiple qualification pathways. Candidates with a BE/BTech degree or equivalent must have secured a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) along with at least two years of relevant work experience.
Those holding a three-year bachelor’s degree followed by a master’s or MBA with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) are also eligible. Applicants who have completed a four- or five-year integrated master’s program with a minimum of 55% marks, or possess a professional qualification such as CA, CS, or ICWA with the same minimum requirement, can apply as well.
For the Executive Fellow Program in Management (EFPM), candidates must have a full-time MBA/PGDM or equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks. Additionally, they are required to have a minimum of five years of full-time experience in executive, managerial, teaching, or research roles.
These criteria ensure that applicants bring a strong academic foundation and relevant professional exposure to the program.
What is the XLRI Jamshedpur FPM/EFPM Admission Process?
The admission process for XLRI Jamshedpur’s FPM and EFPM 2026 is entirely online. Interested candidates are required to submit their applications through the official XLRI admission portal before the prescribed deadline.
For the FPM programme, applicants must hold a valid score in one of the accepted entrance examinations. This includes the Xavier Scholar Entrance Test (XSET), scheduled to be conducted on January 4, 2026, or other national-level tests such as UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, GATE, GMAT, or GRE, as specified in the official prospectus.
Following the evaluation of applications, shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview at the XLRI Jamshedpur campus. The final selection will be made after assessing the candidate’s academic record, entrance test score, relevant work experience, and performance in the interview.
