XISS Ranchi PGDM Admission 2026 Begins; Apply Online @xiss.ac.in

Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi has opened the application window for admission to its PGDM programs for the academic year 2026–28.

Candidates can apply for Human Resource Management (HRM), Rural Management (RM), Marketing Management (MM), and Financial Management (FM) specializations through the institute’s official website.

Admission will be based on scores obtained in CAT 2025, XAT 2026, or CMAT 2026, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) rounds to be conducted in offline mode.

XISS Ranchi PGDM Admissions Dates

To register, candidates need to pay ₹2000 + 18% GST and must complete the registration, upload required documents, and pay the fee online through the official portal.

A total of 315 seats are available across programs, 120 in HRM, 75 in RM, and 60 each in FM and MM. 50% of seats are reserved for Christian minorities, SC, ST, and other minority groups. If sufficient applicants from these categories are not available, the remaining seats will be allocated to candidates from the unreserved category.

What are the Eligibility Criteria For XISS Ranchi PGDM?

XISS Ranchi applicants must hold a three or four-year bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.

Students appearing for their final year exams in 2025–26 are also eligible, provided they complete graduation and submit proof of passing by July 10, 2026.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for GD & PI rounds, conducted offline at outstation centers including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore, followed by a home center round at Ranchi. The final merit list will be prepared based on:

• Entrance test performance – 40%
• Personal interview – 25%
• Academic record – 20%
• Group discussion – 10%
• Extracurricular/Diversity – 5%

XISS Ranchi PGDM Admission Entrance Exam and Cutoff

Admission is open only to candidates appearing in one of the following tests: CAT 2025, XAT 2026, or CMAT 2026. Below are the minimum cutoff percentiles required for shortlisting:

Candidates meeting the cutoff criteria will receive GDPI admit cards indicating their eligibility status. The final admission list will be released after the GDPI process. Classes for the new academic session will begin as per the AICTE academic calendar for 2026–28.
