New Delhi: Xavier Institute of Management in Bhubaneswar successfully hosted the "Xpressions'21," its flagship annual management and cultural event on February 20, 2022.
This year's event was held entirely online and lasted two days, from February 19th to February 20th. The magnificent celebration gathered a big number of participants from a number of prestigious Indian universities.
A plethora of business and cultural activities were held throughout the event. Case studies, business simulations, quizzes, extempore, and a variety of other contests were held by the various committees.
Massive involvement was seen in case study contests such as "MPower," organised by Maxim, XIM's marketing committee, and "Maven," organised by Constrat, XIM's consulting and strategy consortium.
Along with their main case study competition, "Aarohan," X-Ops, XIM's operations committee, held an in-house business simulation game called "Nirnay," which drew numerous players. The case study competition "Case Connect," organised by XSys, XIM's systems committee, examined the competitors' business analytics skills.
Additionally, SpeakUp- XIM's oratory committee, also organised the XIM Model United Nations conference, which featured two councils: the UN Human Rights Council and the International Press. With a focus on social awareness, XIM's Social Responsibility Cell held "Vriddhi," a CSR action plan competition, which attracted high-quality proposals.

The flagship event of XIM's quiz committee, XQuizzite, "Inquizzitive," was met with tremendous excitement. The Social Responsibility Cell and the Speak Up committees organised "Vaktritva," which focused on how management talents may be applied to improve society.
In addition to the grand events, Xpressions'21's signature case study competition, "Jack of All Trades," put the competitors' comprehensive business knowledge to the test. For all the financial aficionados, XFin, XIM's finance committee, sponsored a trading simulation game called "Trade Wars."
The participants were asked to demonstrate their business talents by "Ad Valorem" from XIM's entrepreneurship cell, XSeed. With equal zeal, IRC, XIM's International Relations Committee, hosted the national level pitching competition "Pitch It Abroad."
Xpressions'21 saw a slew of cultural activities with attendees from all across the country, adding to the festival's splendour.

"Footloose" and "Thirkan," in which contestants matched their rhythms to Western and Indian dance styles, respectively; "Abhinay," a solo acting event; and "Carnival De Vogue," XIM's ramp walk competition, were among the cultural and casual activities.
LitSoc, the Literary Society of XIM, hosted "Flight of Fancy," a quiz and treasure hunt event. The musical brilliance of Western and Indian singing styles was captured in the films "Symphony" and "Goonj."
X-Lens organised the "Lensation" photography competition. For its annual Short-Film Making Competition, "The Final Cut," Team IlluminatiX, XIM's media and PR unit, received a record number of submissions.
The theme of this year's "XAthon," the epilogue marathon event of Xpression'21, was "Walking for Disability Rights." The event's revenues will be donated to a charity that assists our special-needs friends.
The 21st edition of Xpressions was a huge success. The festival's ardent and dynamic participation across the festival's many activities defied the online method, making it one of the country's most notable B-school festivals.
