XLRI Jamshedpur released the XAT 2027 notification on July 9, confirming the exam date, registration window, and fee structure.

• Registration runs for nearly 5 months, from July 15 to December 6, giving candidates a wide window to prepare documents.
• Base registration fee is ₹2,200, plus ₹200 for each XLRI programme selected.
• Applying on Day 1 is the only way to guarantee your first-choice test city, since confirmation goes out by August 5.
• There is a gap of almost a month between registration closing and the exam, which candidates can use for final revision.
• XAT exam date 2027 is confirmed for January 3, 2027.
• XAT admit card release is expected around December 20, 2026 (to be confirmed).
• XAT answer key is expected in the second week of January 2027.

Candidates targeting MBA and PGDM admission at XLRI Jamshedpur and 250+ other B-schools must complete the XAT 2027 application form before the window closes.

XAT Registration 2027: How to Apply

The XAT 2027 application form is available only in online mode at xatonline.in. Here is the step-by-step registration process candidates need to follow.

• Visit the official website, xatonline.in, and click on the "Registration" option.
• Enter your name, phone number, email ID, and set a password with the CAPTCHA code.
• Check your registered email for a unique XAT ID and a verification link.
• Click the verification link to confirm your registration.
• Log in and complete the XAT 2027 application form, including academic, personal, and work experience details.
• Upload a passport-size photograph, a scanned signature, and a valid photo ID.
• Select up to six preferred test cities for exam centre allotment.
• Review all entries and check the declaration box before submitting.
• Pay the XAT exam fee through debit card, credit card, or net banking to complete registration.

Note: The XAT registration fee is non-refundable once paid. Double-check every field before payment, since corrections after submission are limited to a short editing window in December.
