New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the deadline for Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2024 online registration process is now extended till December 10, 2023. Earlier, the last date to apply for XAT 2024 was November 30, 2023. Interested candidates could register by submitting their applications on the official website at xatonline.in.
XLRI had begun the registration process for admission to MBA programs offered by institutions accepting XAT scores from July 15, 2023. The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2024 is scheduled to be held on January 07, 2024 for all registered candidates. XAT is one of the largest entrance exams which has been held by XLRI for the past 72 years.

XAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to appear for the XAT 2024 exam must check the following XAT eligibility criteria before applying for the examination:
- To apply for XAT 2024, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university or institute.
- Students appearing in the final year of their bachelor's degree can also apply.
- A minimum of 15 years of academic study till a bachelor’s degree is mandatory. It means candidates must have pursued a minimum of three years of graduation degree.

XAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria for XLRI Admission 2024
- Academic excellence receives weighting from XLRI, therefore applicants with higher percentages of academic marks have a better opportunity.
- The preference is for candidates with extracurricular accomplishments.
- Academic and gender diversity also significantly influences the final merit list's XLRI qualifying requirements.
XAT 2024 Selection Process
After the declaration of results, the XAT Selection Process will start. Every XAT score accepting institute has its own selection method and criteria because XLRI does not conduct a centralised screening process. Check the selection criteria for MBA admission through XAT scores below:
- The selection process for the XLRI XAT will comprise GD-PI rounds. For the GD-PI rounds, only candidates who have been selected based on the XAT cutoffs will be contacted.
- After the PI round, XLRI will compile the final merit list based on a number of factors, including the XAT score, XAT GD-PI scores, job experience, past academic performance, and GK & Essay section scores.
- The weights given to the XAT score and the GD/PI scores will be 60% and 25%, respectively, in the creation of the final merit list.
Note: Depending on their criteria for seat intake and allocation, other Institutes may have a similar or different selection approach.
Steps to Register Online for XAT 2024
To register online for XAT 2024, candidates need to create their login credentials (XAT ID and Password) on the official website of XAT i.e., xatonline.in by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of XAT at xatonline.in and click on the ‘Register’ link.
Step 2: Enter the necessary details such as email, name, contact number, etc., and submit.
Step 3: Your XAT login credential will be displayed on the screen.
Step 4: Log in by using the registration credentials and start filling the necessary details in the application form.
Step 5: Attach the scanned copy of the mentioned documents in the prescribed format.
Step 6: Pay the application fee of INR 2,000 through an online payment gateway.
Step 7: Click on ‘Submit’ and take a printout of the application form for future reference.
XAT 2024: Documents Required
The scanned copies of the following documents are required to be attached while filling up the XAT 2024 application form:
- Photograph: A recent photograph in JPG or JPEG format. The size of file must range from 20 to 50 kb. The suggested measurement is 200 by 230 pixels.
- Signature: On white paper, a black ink signature is written. The file size must range between 20 to 50 kb. The suggested size is 140 x 60.
