Why Has WBJEE 2026 Registration Not Started Yet?

Every year, WBJEE registration usually begins in January, but this time the board has not issued any update. The delay has created confusion among aspirants preparing for engineering entrance admissions in West Bengal.

As per previous trends, WBJEEB first announces the exam date and then starts the registration process. Since neither has been declared yet, students are closely watching the official portal for updates.

When Can Students Expect the WBJEE 2026 Form Fill Up Date?

There is no official confirmation yet. However, reports suggest that registration may begin after the WBCHSE Class 12 board exams end on February 27, 2026.

Based on earlier years’ pattern, the board may announce the WBJEE 2026 exam date in the first week of March, followed by the start of registration in the second week of March 2026. Once the application window opens, it is likely to remain active for at least one month, giving candidates enough time to apply.

Also, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has not officially confirmed any reason for the delay in announcing the WBJEE 2026 registration and exam date.
