Veer Kunwar Singh University (VKSU), Ara, has announced an extension in the online application deadline for its Pre-Ph.D. combined Entrance Test (PAT) 2023 and 2024. Interested candidates can now apply until January 4, 2025.

VKSU PAT Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are going to take the PAT exam must be eligible as per the following points:
- Candidates for admission to the Ph. D. Programme shall have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate, or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed)
- A relaxation of 5% marks, i.e. from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade will be allowed for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/EBC/OBC/Differently Able Categories.
- A Candidate shall ordinarily be permitted to pursue research in the subject in which he/ she holds a Master's degree.
