VIT has released the Phase 2 seat allotment for VITEEE 2026 B.Tech admissions today, May 22, 2026. Candidates with ranks 20,001 to 45,000 can now access their allotment results on the official counselling portal at ugresults.vit.ac.in. Eligible candidates must log in using their application number, password, and registered email ID to view their allotted campus, branch, and fee category.

The counselling process is conducted entirely online and admissions are strictly merit-based through VITEEE 2026 ranks. Candidates with a rank below 1 lakh are eligible for counselling across all four VIT campuses VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP, and VIT Bhopal. Candidates ranked above 1 lakh can participate only for VIT-AP and VIT Bhopal campuses.

Candidates who appeared for the Biology stream in VITEEE are eligible only for selected programmes such as Biotechnology, Bioengineering, and Health Sciences. Candidates can check their allotment result on the official counselling portal at ugresults.vit.ac.in/viteee/ using their application number and password.

Log in using your application number and password.
Click on the Phase 2 seat allotment result link.
Your allotted campus, branch, and fee category will appear on the screen.
Download and save the allotment details for future reference.

Advance Fee Payment Process

Candidates allotted seats in Phase 2 must pay the advance admission fee through the online portal using credit card, debit card, or net banking. The counselling registration fee of Rs. 5,900 is non-refundable but will be adjusted in the tuition fee later.

After successful fee payment, candidates will receive provisional admission confirmation and further instructions regarding document verification and reporting.

What Happens After Seat Allotment

Candidates must accept their allotted seat and complete fee payment within the specified deadline. The allotted campus, branch, and fee category are final and cannot be changed after confirmation.

Students who do not receive a seat in Phase 2 will automatically be considered for Phase 3 counselling, subject to seat availability and rank eligibility. Phase 3 counselling will be conducted for candidates ranked 45,001 to 70,000.
