The Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) has started the admission process for its Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes for the 2026 academic session. Interested candidates can now apply online through the official website @vistascdoe.in.

According to the official notification, all ODL programmes are offered in English medium, except the MA Astrology programme, which is conducted in Tamil. The maximum duration for undergraduate programmes is 6 to 8 years, while postgraduate programmes can be completed within a maximum duration of four years.

In addition to the programme fee, students are required to pay a one-time amount of INR 1000 at the time of admission. This includes INR 500 as registration fee, INR 200 for the prospectus, and INR 300 towards postal charges.
