Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation PhD Eligibility Criteria

Admission to the Doctoral programme will be based on an entrance test, conducted by the institute, followed by multiple rounds of interviews. Applicants are required to hold a postgraduate degree in or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the relevant statutory authority, with at least 55% aggregate marks, with at least 55% aggregate marks (A 5% relaxation in marks is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), Differently-Abled, and EWS candidates).

Candidates who have completed an M.Phil. degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) are also eligible for admission to the PhD programme. Candidates who score valid marks in the UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR (Including JRF), SLET, GATE holder, or equivalent exams will be exempted from the entrance test, but have to appear for the interview. However, M.Phil full-time and part-time candidates are not exempt from the entrance examination.
