Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University (VMSB-UTU), Dehradun, has released its Ph.D. admission notice for the January 2025 academic session. The University will provide an Assistantship of INR 20,000/- Per Month under the Research cum Teaching Fellowship Scheme for a limited number of scholars on merit depending on availability.

UTU PhD 2025 Admission Guidelines
The candidates applying for the Ph.D. admission must follow the guidelines given below:
- Subject-specific knowledge (50% weightage).
- Reasoning, General Knowledge, Research Methodology, and Aptitude.
- Admission Weightage: Entrance Test: 85% and Interview: 15%
- JRF holders, teacher fellowship holders, and candidates under central/state government schemes are exempt from the entrance test but must attend the interview.
- A minimum of 50% in the entrance test will be considered as qualifying marks.
