Uttarakhand NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Allotment Released; Check Joining Deadline

The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has released the Round 2 seat allotment result. The allotment covers the Uttarakhand NEET UG 2026 state counselling process. Candidates can view the result on the official portal at hnbumu.ac.in.

Allotted candidates must report to their assigned college by September 18, 2026. This joining window applies to both Freeze and Float category candidates. Missing the deadline will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

The Round 2 allotment uses a fresh state merit list. Only candidates who registered afresh for Round 2 were considered. Allotment is based on NEET UG 2026 rank, category, and choice filling.

How to Check the Round 2 Seat Allotment Result?

Follow these steps to view the result online.

1. Visit the official HNBUMU website at hnbumu.ac.in.
2. Click on the Uttarakhand State Centralized Counselling link.
3. Open the Round 2 seat allotment result notice.
4. Search your NEET UG 2026 roll number in the list.
5. Note your allotted college, course, and category details.
6. Download the allotment letter for reporting at the college.

What Are the Freeze and Float Rules for Round 2?

Candidates who accept Round 2 seats must choose between Freeze and Float. Both options carry separate outcomes for the next counselling stages.

Freeze candidates confirm the Round 2 seat as their final admission. They must report to the allotted college by September 18, 2026. Their name will not appear in later Mop-Up or Stray Vacancy rounds.

Float candidates keep their current seat but stay open to upgrades. They will be considered for higher-preference colleges in the Mop-Up round. If not upgraded, the current Round 2 seat is retained.

Fee Payment and Document Verification

Allotted candidates must pay the advance tuition fee before reporting. The exact fee for each college is listed in the HNBUMU prospectus. Payment is made online through the counselling portal.

Original documents will be checked at the allotted medical college. Candidates must carry the NEET UG 2026 scorecard and allotment letter. Class 10 and 12 marksheets and category certificates are also required. Uttarakhand domicile proof must be shown at the college.
