USTM has started UG and PG admission 2026 across science, arts, management, law, engineering, and medical programmes.

USTM Begins Admission 2026

The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) has officially opened UG and PG admissions for the 2026–27 academic session. The admission process is open for a wide range of programmes across science, arts, commerce, management, law, engineering, pharmacy, nursing, and allied medical sciences.

Eligible candidates can apply through the online application portal or obtain the form offline from the university campus. Admission will be granted based on merit and entrance tests, depending on the course. Important dates for course-wise applications will be notified separately.

USTM is offering Postgraduate admissions in over 40 programmes for the 2026–27 session. Key courses include MSc, MA, MTech, MBA, MCom, MCA, MSW, LLM, MPT, MPharm, and several medical and allied health science programmes such as Clinical Psychology, Radiography, Optometry, Forensic Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Critical Care Technology.

Professional programmes like MBA (Regular & Evening) and MTech in Engineering disciplines are also available.

For undergraduate admissions, USTM offers BSc, BA, BCom, BBA, BCA, BTech, BPharm, BPT, BEd, LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB, and multiple health science and nursing programmes. Specialised UG courses include Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Hospital Administration, Dialysis Technology, Emergency and Trauma Care, and Physician Assistant programmes.

How to Apply for USTM UG/PG Admission 2026?

Candidates can apply online through the “Apply Online” link available on the official USTM website. The application fee is ₹1,000, while it is ₹1,500 for MBA and ₹2,000 for MSc Allied Medical Science programmes. Applicants can also obtain the physical application form and prospectus from the university campus at 9th Mile, Kling Road, Baridua. The application fee is non-refundable.

Admission to most programmes will be based on merit in the qualifying examination. For MBA, candidates must appear for USTM-CAT, followed by GD and PI. Applicants with valid CAT/MAT/XMAT scores are exempted from the written test. For select UG programmes like BPharm, BPT, BEd, BA LLB, and Administration & Governance, an entrance test will be conducted.
