UPGET 2026 registration for GNM Course admission has been extended till June 2, 2026 (midnight). The entrance exam is scheduled for June 16, 2026 (Tuesday) from 11:00 AM to 1:20 PM in offline mode across 20 cities in Uttar Pradesh.

UPGET 2026 Registration Deadline Extended

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU) has extended the UPGET 2026 registration deadline till June 2, 2026 (midnight). Candidates can apply online at abvmuup.edu.in for admission to GNM Course (3 Years) for the 2026-27 academic session.

The UP GNM Entrance Test (UPGET) 2026 will be conducted on June 16, 2026 (Tuesday) from 11:00 AM to 1:20 PM. The exam will be held in offline mode across 20 examination centers including Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Basti, Banda, Ghaziabad, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Prayagraj, Saharanpur, Varanasi, and Gautam Buddha Nagar.

Candidates must be minimum 17 years old as on December 31, 2026. Educational qualification requires 10+2 with English and minimum 40% marks from a recognized board. Candidates from vocational ANM or healthcare science streams are also eligible with 40% marks.

Candidates must be medically fit for nursing profession. Domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh is mandatory for admission to government GNM training centers. Only Indian citizens are eligible for admission to the course.

How to Apply for UPGET 2026?

  • Candidates must register on the official portal using their email and mobile number.
  • During registration, applicants need to provide personal information, educational qualifications, and examination center city preferences (up to 3 choices).
  • The registration process requires OTP verification on both registered email and mobile number.

The application fee is Rs. 3,000 for unreserved and OBC category candidates. SC, ST, and PwD candidates need to pay Rs. 2,000. The fee must be submitted online during application form submission and is non-refundable.

How to Download UPGET 2026 Admit Card Once Out?

Admit cards will be available online from June 9, 2026 on abvmuup.edu.in. Candidates must log in using their registration ID and password to download the admit card. A colored printout of the admit card is mandatory for the examination.

Candidates must verify all details on the admit card including name, roll number, examination center, and date. The admit card should be preserved in good condition for future reference and counselling process.

UPGET 2026 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The UPGET 2026 exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in bilingual format (English and Hindi). The total duration is 140 minutes (2 hours 20 minutes). Each correct answer carries 1 mark with no negative marking for incorrect responses.

The syllabus is divided into three sections: Science (Class 10 level - 50 questions), General Knowledge (Class 12 level - 30 questions), and English (Class 12 level - 20 questions). Candidates must answer questions on an Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet using a black ball point pen provided at the examination center.

What’s Next for Students

Candidates must report at the examination center by 9:00 AM (two hours before exam start). Mandatory biometric capturing will be conducted at the entry gate. No entry will be allowed after 10:15 AM on the day of examination.

Candidates cannot carry textbooks, calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic devices inside the examination hall. Only the admit card and valid identity proof (Aadhaar, voter ID, etc.) are permitted. Extensive frisking will be conducted before entering the examination center.

Candidates appearing for UPGET 2026 should complete their registration by June 2, 2026 (midnight) to avoid missing the deadline. After the exam on June 16, 2026, results will be declared on the official website. Counselling will follow merit list preparation, leading to final admission to government and private GNM nursing colleges across Uttar Pradesh.
