UP NEET MDS 2024: Special Stray Vacancy Round Merit List Released

Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh has finally declared the merit list of the special stray vacancy round of NEET MDS 2024. The students who have appeared in this final round and wish to get admitted into Master of Dental Surgery courses in any institutes of Uttar Pradesh can now download their merit list from the official portal.

This special round is carried out in the vacant seats that are left in MDS across all dental colleges. As per this new release, applicants are able to see their rank along with the NEET scores and so on. Therefore, this becomes the final opportunity for getting admission in the 2024 academic year.

Points to Be Noted

Merit List

1. Objective: Merit list is part of special stray round vacancy, which was mainly implemented in order to fill those stray vacant seats available in MDS which remained unfilled during the counselling conducted earlier.

2. Merit List Eligibility: All those candidates who will appear in the special round will be included in the merit list, and their selections will be solely based on the result of NEET MDS 2024.

3. Last Chance: It is the last entry possibility open to candidates who want to take MDS seats in their respective states and counseling would take place according to rank marks given in the merit list.

4. Instructions: The selected candidates need to log on to the web site day and night for more updates in counselling schedule, seat allotment and document details.

Next Steps for Candidates

• Document Verification: Verification of documents that are required from the candidates such as NEET MDS scorecard, mark sheets, and other certificates of identification will be done in counseling.

• Next Counseling Schedule: Counseling schedule with respect to seat allotment and reporting dates will be given through the portal.

• Admission procedure: Candidates are requested to follow strictly as per guidelines so that their admission can be processed smoothly.
