UP NEET has announced Special Stray Vacancy Round for MDS-2024. The registration process will start on October 15, 2024.

The Office of the Director General, Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, has announced the commencement of the Special Stray Vacancy Round for UP NEET MDS-2024 from October 15, 2024. Candidates eligible for this round of counseling can now participate under specific guidelines outlined by the department.

Key Points of the Announcement:

  1. Eligibility Criteria: Only candidates who have not been allotted any seat in previous rounds of UP NEET MDS-2024 counseling are eligible for this round. Candidates who have already secured a seat in the All India Counseling for NEET MDS-2024 will not be allowed to participate.

  2. Registration: Eligible candidates must register online by paying a non-refundable registration fee of ₹2000 to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round.

  3. Security Deposit:

    • Candidates participating for the first time in the Special Stray Vacancy Round must deposit a security amount. The amount is set at ₹1,00,000 for private sector dental colleges and ₹30,000 for government sector dental colleges.

    • Candidates who have already deposited earnest money in previous rounds will not need to deposit again for this round.

  4. Original Documents Required: All candidates must present their original educational and reservation-related certificates at the time of admission to the allotted Dental College or Nodal Centre.

  5. Consequences of Non-Admission: Candidates who fail to secure admission after being allotted a seat in this round will forfeit their security deposit and will be disqualified from participating in UP NEET MDS Counseling 2025-26.

  6. Tuition Fee: Candidates allotted seats in private sector dental colleges must submit the tuition fee via a bank draft payable to the Director General, Medical Education & Training, Uttar Pradesh. Failure to submit the fee will result in automatic cancellation of the admission.

  7. Medical Examination: All candidates must undergo a mandatory medical examination conducted by a medical board at the Dental College or Nodal Centre before finalizing their admission.
