Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU) has opened Mop-Up Round registration for Uttar Pradesh Common Nursing Entrance Test (UP CNET) 2026 admissions. The counselling window is now live at the official portal abvmucet26.co.in. B.Sc Nursing aspirants must complete registration by July 31, 2026.

This mop-up cycle is coordinated centrally by ABVMU for all participating institutions. Both fresh UP CNET qualifiers and candidates resigning earlier seats may register. Registration is fully online through the ABVMU counselling portal.

How Does the UP CNET Mop-Up Round Work?

ABVMU first publishes a fresh seat matrix showing all vacancies. This matrix lists seat counts for each participating college and category.

All eligible aspirants log in and fill their college preferences. Seats are allotted strictly on UP CNET 2026 merit and choice order. The final allotment list is published on the counselling portal.

The resignation option lets candidates release seats they no longer want. Those resigned seats then re-enter the mop-up pool, increasing opportunities for lower-ranked aspirants.

There is no interview or aptitude test at this stage. Allotted candidates simply confirm the seat online through the portal.
