New Delhi: The Universal School of Administration is all set to conduct a first age category Children Chess Competition on January 7, 2024 from 9 am. The institute invited students till January 5, 2024 (6 pm).

The Chess Competition will be organised at the Universal Campus in Bangalore. The competition will be organised under IQAC initiative by the Department of Physical Education and Sports. The candidates will be provided with free lunch.

Rules and Regulations for the Chess Competition

- The Latest FIDE Rules in force shall apply and the Swiss system will be followed.
- Time Control: Each 15min. +5 Sec.
- The first round will commence at 09.00 AM on January 7, 2024. The number of rounds and the round-wise
- schedule will be announced at the tournament venue.
- Chess Sets and Clocks will be provided to all players; personal Sets and Clocks are not allowed.
- Tiebreak: Buchholz tiebreak system will be applied. In case of tie, prizes will not be shared.

Organizers have the right to reject any entries without assigning any reason
The Chief Arbiter's' decisions' shall be final and binding on all players concerned.
Age proof Certificate must be produced for Children's category prizes.
E - certificate will be provide to all participants
Players must be present at the Prize Distribution to receive their prize, else it will be forfeited.
